Grilled Lamb Chops with Herb Butter
Few things beat the smell of lamb chops on the grill. This quick recipe pairs grass-fed Hunter Natural lamb loin chops or cutlets with a simple melting herb butter — fresh, fast and full of flavour. Our lean Dorper lamb cooks quickly, so a hot grill and a careful eye are all you need. It's a perfect midweek dinner or an easy crowd-pleaser on the barbecue.
Cut: Lamb Loin Chops or Cutlets
Ingredients
- 8-12 lamb chops
- Salt, pepper
- Herb butter (butter, garlic, parsley, lemon zest)
Method
- Take chops out 20 minutes before cooking
- Season well with salt and pepper
- Grill or pan-fry on high heat: 2-3 minutes per side for medium
- Rest 5 minutes
- Top with herb butter while resting
Grass-fed lamb tip: Our lamb is leaner and has a cleaner flavour—don't overcook it. Medium is perfect.
